book review!

1.This book is 'KING'S RANSOM' wriiten by Ed McBAIN and this book is kind of detective story
There are a lot of main characters in this book.
Douglas King who dream about his own shoes company.
Two kidnappers(Eddie, Sy Barnard)
Jeff who is kidnapped by Eddie and Sy instead of Bobby King
2.This story mainly took place at Doug's house because Jeff was
kiddnaped in this place
If it was happened at before 1900s, the detective depended on their intuition.
but The police men solved the problems based on scientific method. so it might
be set in after 1900s.
There was a richest man who wanted to be a president of shoes company called Douglas King. one peaceful day, his child Bobby was playing outside with his friend Jeff. anyone knew that this peaceful day would be broken. when it was getting dark. Mrs King called there child. and recognised that Jeff was kidnnaped.
The kidnappers had planned kidnapping Mr King's son. but by mistake they kidnapped Jeff!! but even though he was not Mr King's son they kept demanding ransom for his life to King.!! but King had to pay for stuck to become a president
Finally, king came out his house with plain box, filled with old newspapers. and he caught Sy.
3.Yes,! it was happy ending. when I read a book I wandered of Mr King's choice!
but finally he came into the place and saved Jeff's life.! in the end of the scene
he became a president as well ! This ending showed us rich man was not always
selfish!!
4.A week ago I watched a 'Taken'. It was kind of kidnapping story. but in the movie. there was strong father. and the father safe his daugter's life by himself!.
but Jeff's father was described like a lethargic person. I prefer the former's character.
5.the best thing was when Kathy handed over his microphone. and change their mind. this situationg made me very nervours ! this scene show me love is more precious thing than money.!
6.My favorite character was Jeff!. he was kidnapped and it was hard to him.
but even though he refused telling other kidnappers. he was young but he knew
the truth of Kathy's mind

it was like a peace of action movie. and it was well maintaining a tense situation.
if you like a spectacle movie or kind of this book you must read it !

My mishap

I am usually clumsy. So this story is about my careness

last year i had a plan for studying English.
I packed all my luggage. after then i was driving my parents car.
Usually my father drove his car by himself, but at that time he didn't want to drive!
So i was driving insead of him!
When we arrived at the airport. i took outthe key and then put my key inside my pocket as usual!!
But we didn't know what would happen!! also my parents!

In the airport we enjoyed my last time before i left
we ate some korean food which was my last in my country. and it was very nice
(befor you went to the airport=past perfect, or at the air port=past simple )
It was time to go to Enland.
The time went so fast. it made me feel down. I had thought it was the last time to see my family.
I didn't want to cry even though it was sad situation!If i had cried it also made my parent feel down So i ran into the boarding gate!

In the departure area, before my stuff was searched. I put all my stuff in basket. at that time i felt something strange in my pocket. It was the car key.I forgot to give it back to my father !!
If they didn't have the key they couldn't come back to the home!!
But i was already inside of airport. it was hard to come back!!
I asked but they said 'no' because of airport rules!!!!

I was worried about my parents, but in this situation i couldn't do anything.
I was disapointed until i saw that one man was coming!!
It was my father. and i could see him again and give him back the key!!

If i hadn't been able to give it back, I imagine it would have been terrible.!

My biography

My name is Hyunwoo Park. It means bright star. I was born in Incheon, Korea
And i've lived Incheon since i was born. My favourite place is Hongdae which is famous for a pub.
I like drinking alcohol and also i usually go to pub

I'm interesed in learning other culture so i decided to go to England. Now i'm in England and i met a good teacher who is called Laura. I thought she is the best english teacher in ther world!.
Nowadays i'm trying to wake up early but i can't do it. So today i am going to sleep earlier than before. Maybe tomorrow i'll arrive on time!

My major is Russian studies. I enjoyed it very much. But i'm not good at apeaking Russian. So i want to go to Russia for improving my speaking. Maybe i'm going to Russia after finished my army service. Because in my country, men must do army service. But i don't want to. Just i wanted to enjoy my life.

I want to be a trader because i like foreign life. For example i am keen on trying some new foreign food and facing some new culture also meeting a new person. Maybe after 3-4years you can meet Park in another country!

In my country we usually drink alcohol
and we've loved it for a long time
we have typical dink manor and you should know that before drink korean alcohol

KOREAN DRINK MANOR
-You should drink first glass even if you don't want it (if you really!! don't want just smell it)
-You should pour a drink to others and then recive it to others
-If you respect others, you should pour it by two hands
-If you respect others, you should recive it by two hands
-Make a toast with others and drink
-CHEERS = GUNBAE!

We usually drink alcohol with some food

Soju
-it is our popular drink especially for normal people , it is well mached with all kind of food
but especially well matched with roast pork wiht kimchi

Mak kul li
-it is the most oldest drink in my country. and it is made by rice
and it is good for women, especially women's skin !!
and it is well matched with korean pizza called pa-jun
we usually drink Mak kul li on typical days
when it comes rain we drink it !!

Bok bun ja
-it is made by korean strawberry it is called korean wine
it taste sweet !! we usually drink it with roast eel called jang u gu ei
it is good for men !! and also good for women !!


these days korean people drink too much
so there is some bad habits ..
so we shouldn't drink too much
if you drink too much it hurt you even if it is good alcohol!!

BRIDGET HONES DIARY

There was a 32 ages woman who is called Bridget
She was fat enough and didn't have any boyfriend
One day she met Mark who is her friend when she was chirldren.
But she wan't interest in him because he didn't have a good fashion sense
furthermore didn't have a sense of humour. But he wanted to get on well wit her.
The other side Bridget fell in love her boss who is called Daniel.
He was perfectly a womanizer and Bridget fell in love with him.
And their relations were keep gorwing. Some day Daniel talked about
Mark to Bridget. and Bridget misunderstood about Mark and also got a
prejuidice abou Mark

One evenig she went to Daniel's house. and she discovered some strange woman's
cloth and found naked woman in Daniel;s bathroom!
She realised he was a womanize. and shoked... so she changed her job and
decided to make a new life.when she was working in the briadcast Mark
came to her and confessed that he loved her at first sight. but she didn't dicide.
because she still loved Daniel and also he said to her that Mark was badboy!
but the time goes by ... she knew that it was not truth. and realised
that Mark' true heart and they fell in love!

my weekend

Fri- After school, I went to tesco because i needed somethig for my flat
then, i came back to the my home. I watched tv
Sat- I waked up at 10 o'clock and met my class mates. I went italian restaurant with them
and i ate pizza and pasta it was good!^^ and i went to the firework nearby greenwich park
It was fantastic!!
Sun- I'm going to visit cotswold villages at 9 o'clock but i did't wake up at that time
so we arrived at about 3 o'clock because of me.... but cotwold was very beutiful place
and food also tasty ^^ it was great time to me ^^
